Meet TBH’s Lead Designer: Vicky Blue

Hello. I’m Vicky Blue, founder and lead designer of This Blue Home Interior Design.

Design has always been the throughline in my life, even before I had the language for it. My path here wasn’t linear, but it was intentional. With a background rooted in business, strategy, and creative problem-solving, I approach design with both structure and intuition, balancing big-picture thinking with careful attention to detail.

I’m deeply drawn to the way homes function beneath the surface. How spaces flow. How they support daily routines. How thoughtful design choices quietly elevate the way people live. My work is grounded in architectural awareness and guided by the belief that beautiful homes should also feel calm, considered, and deeply livable.

At TBH, I lead projects from early concept through final installation, bringing clarity to complex decisions and confidence to every phase of the process. Whether designing new construction, rebuilds, or full-service interiors, my goal is always the same: to create homes that feel intentional, cohesive, and truly lived in.

Homes designed on purpose don’t just look good. They feel right.

Christopher Blue: The Calm Behind the Scenes

Christopher Blue is a founder at heart and the operational backbone of TBH. From the very beginning, he has been in the trenches helping shape not just the business, but the systems, processes, and long-term vision that allow it to grow with intention. His steady presence and strategic mindset ensure that the creative work is supported by clarity, structure, and smart decision-making.

By day, Christopher runs his own startup, Manifest UX, a boutique UX/UI firm working with enterprise-level companies. With a background in visual design, technology, and entrepreneurship, he brings a rare combination of creative fluency and operational expertise. At TBH, that translates into wearing many hats, from IT and systems to financial strategy, workflow optimization, and problem-solving behind the scenes.

As Vicky’s partner in both life and business, Christopher plays a critical role in shaping TBH’s offerings and ensuring the studio runs smoothly and sustainably. Known for his calm perspective, thoughtful leadership, and ability to turn big ideas into executable plans, he creates the foundation that allows the design team to focus on what they do best, delivering homes that are purposeful, beautiful, and deeply considered.

Emery Norman: Bringing Ideas to Life

Emery Norman is one of the creative forces behind TBH, turning early concepts into visuals that help clients truly see the vision. As a Junior Interior Designer, she plays a key role in translating ideas into renderings that feel clear, thoughtful, and incredibly real, often becoming the bridge between imagination and construction.

Emery has a natural ability to think visually and spatially, bringing materials, proportions, and details together in a way that feels both intuitive and grounded. Her work supports everything from early design development to fine-tuning details, helping projects move forward with confidence and clarity.

In the studio, Emery is known for her sharp eye, quick wit, and collaborative spirit. She brings a lot of heart (and humor) to the process, whether she’s refining a rendering, brainstorming with the team, or walking a job site. Thoughtful and curious by nature, she loves exploring new ideas while staying rooted in what makes a space feel livable and personal.

Drawn to timeworn materials, natural textures, and spaces with a sense of quiet character, Emery gravitates toward designs that feel layered, intentional, and collected over time. Her work reflects TBH’s belief that great design isn’t just about how a space looks, but how it feels to live in it.

Christy Blue: Where Structure Meets Grace

Christy Blue is the steady hand behind the scenes at This Blue Home. As TBH’s Business Manager, she brings clarity, organization, and calm to every moving part of the studio. From contracts and invoicing to systems and day-to-day operations, Christy ensures the business runs smoothly so the creative team can stay focused on design.

Known for her sharp eye, gracious presence, and thoughtful approach, Christy is often the voice of reason when things get busy. She is detail-driven, deeply reliable, and committed to maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the TBH experience for both clients and collaborators.

Beyond her operational expertise, Christy brings an innate sense of style and polish that reflects the heart of the brand. She has a way of making people feel at ease, keeping projects grounded, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

At its core, TBH is a family business, and Christy plays a vital role in keeping that foundation strong, balanced, and growing with intention.

Meet Barton: TBH’s Chief Barketing Officer

Barton is TBH’s resident English Sheepdog and the heart of the studio. Equal parts greeter, morale booster, and nap-time supervisor, he takes his role seriously, especially when treats are involved. With his gentle nature and soulful eyes, Barton has a way of making everyone feel instantly welcome.

When he’s not overseeing meetings from the floor or patrolling for dropped snacks, Barton is reminding the team to slow down, step outside, and enjoy the process. Sweet, loyal, and endlessly patient, he’s a daily reminder that the best spaces, and the best teams, are built with warmth, care, and a lot of love.
